Hi, I haven't been on for about a week or so,

Last time i went on i found that our island had been griefed so I tried to rebuild my house,

I tried logging back on today and my account has been banned?

I don't understand why?

Unless someone has been on my account I haven't done anything wrong :(

There is no record of any player with that name being banned.

MCBans says you have 2 bans, one local and one global. The global one says that you have been permabanned as "Alternate account of dual_boot"

Local one was technobuffalo, so you haven't been banned on our server at all, but since MCBans has permabanned you you can no longer play on any server that has the MCBans plugin.

Normally it just puts your karma down, and servers that use a threshhold (overs being 3.5 or lower) wont allow you to connect...

Not if the ban was issued by MCBans itself, which it has.

In Which case, this issue is settled, theres no way to overthrow an mcbans global.

All i can advise Preston is you contact mcbans directly and get your ban overthrown, if not you will have problems connecting to any major servers as they all operate the mcbans software.
