I had no problems with it on my little server.
It's very easy to setup sort of a five minute job.

So, new idea for an "event";

Extreme Mining / "Dig-derp"

General Rules-

Two moderators/Admins (or 1 Jack!) + 1-4 players go down into a mine area.

The Players may only possess the following;

Water Bucket x1
Iron Pickax x2
Iron Sword x1
Iron Shovel x1

Armor (They must provide it, and bring it understanding that it will probably be destroyed.)
Food (Any kind x5, no more!)

The Players may NOT have the following;

Fire Resistance Enchantments
ANY KIND OF POTIONS!

The Moderators/Admins may use creative mode to have the following;

Water
Lava
Creeper Eggs
Zombie Eggs
Skeleton Eggs
Spider Eggs
Any kind of Building Block

Jack has access to the above and;

Lightning
Exploding Cats

Extreme Mining Rules-

Objective is to survive for as long as possible.

For each minute you survive, you will win 1 Diamond or Diamond Ore (Your Choice), in addition to the items you find.

Dig-Derp Rules-

Objective is to escape your pursuers by digging to the surface.

Prize is dependant on the Mods/Admins/Jack presiding over the game, in addition to the items you find.

Is there a nether in the ressource world? If not, we should really add one.

I also have a suggestion for pvp: how about adding a small piece of land (maybe not bigger than rendering on far distance) where you can kill and build whatever you want?

why would we need a nether resource world? just go to the normal nether!


and im not quite sure what you mean by this small piece of land?

because all the glowstone has gone from around the spawn area in the nether, makes it hard to get any.

I think something along the lines of a normal biome, like some hills and bit of tundra etc where PvP can happen - like a really small PvP world.

i could maybe do a 500x500 area of the map on the main world, that has pvp enabled. it would have a notification when entering/leaving the area saying PvP is enabled in this area, and a fence around the edge so people know?

I dont know if its mentioned yet.
But can we disable pvp in the resource world.
It isnt fun to get killed by another player who runs with your hard gathered stuff.

I say do this - maybe copy the area into the PvP world?

unused tools should be able to be sold, a problem? say no more, I gots n idea.

The dispencer, a simple item, it can tell diffrence between used bows and unused? if it can, maybe we can :O
Item repair can check the durability too? yes, maybe we can find the value of a unused item with it!

hopefully those thinking questions might help solving the mystery of : will we ever be able to sell unused tools?

Could you add the other logs to VIP grant? Like instead of /vip grant log, /vip grant birch_log.
Also, could you add to the sell list items found in strongholds? Including stone brick, cracked stone brick,and mossy stone brick? Also, Nether warts, gold nugget, and ghast tears. IDK if Ender pearls are sellable but if not please add those.

On another topic, I heard about the EXP farm ban. Could you consider:
A) If you're inactive for over 30 minutes, auto kick (Also get rid of afkers.)
B) If over 500 mobs are in one spawn chunk, auto kill them
C) A set number of mobs in one area (250 total?) or else none will spawn within a 1 spawn chunk radius of that spawn chunk.

can you maybe get RepairShop it allows u to fix armor,weapons,tools for a price

Maybe a Potion Shop where you can buy prepared Potions in the 2nd Floor of spawn shop :P

Awesome suggestion. Maybe for the prices, add the ingredient prices up, then +10% rounded to the nearest dollar.

If that was implemented to the shop i would buy from it alot :P

not a bad suggestion as we was wondering what to add up there.....

There are set spawn limits for mobs in the game, and I'm pretty sure that one is less then 150 mobs in an area of 128x128 blocks. Also, chunks are kinda small (16x16), and have a limit of mobs spawning in them as well.
