i know o copied it i love his design ^^.
But most people trade by going to the spawn and find a quite spot :P

The Slap Games!

Recently, youtubers have been posting their try on the hunger games map, and seeing them play made me really excited about playing it myself! So here is my idea: Let's do some Survival Games on the server! Maybe someone is able to import the map to the server and could make events when the Slap Games would be held.
The map can be played by 24 participates, and we would need a 'gamemaker'.
The rules given with the map are that only one can survive, but maybe we can take the rules of 'The Hunger games' which says that there can be two winners if they are from the same district, 12 districts. So people would be able to get a teammate and register together.
If you are interested please comment with more ideas or suggestions and tell me what you think!

EDIT: If you die, you would be able to choose between helping another player by donating one thing or spawn monsters to make it for another player more difficult.

EDIT 2: Idea of Iain: make our own survival map somewhere, ofcourse based on the map linked above.

seems like a fairly good idea, but you would need to pick dedicated people, like vips, active members, mods and admins because normal builders will probably break the rules.

Vips and mods/admins would get priority of course. Builders wouldn't be able to join, since they will need to sign in on the forums. :D

Have to say I like the idea, but maybe make our own arena out i nthe wilderness somewhere, it would make it more s!ap centric, if you get what I mean.

Sure, I would love a new project so I can be even more on the server! :D
Also it would be better since people wouldn't be able to explore the map and know where the chests are and stuff!

i agree but members should be able to have a seprate games so more people can enjoy it so 1 games for admins/mods and vip's then1 for members!!1

Maybey add the arena for the slap games to my themepark im currenctly building as a extra plot off land ??.
Because i guess the games will need quite some space ??.
Like the idea of seperate runs for admins/mods and vips and normal members if you want to build this i guess you will need quit some space around

if this needs all custom permissions etc. now we have setup multiworld, i can put it into its own world, and only grant access to people when we are online.

@Russ: The games will be held for all players, and will be held like every two weeks or so.
@Lord and Jack: I think Jack's idea is better, because the games will need an immense area. And it'll be easier to edit a random generated world than building a whole new map on flat land. Other plus on Jack's idea: People will not be able to be there when the games aren't being held.

Well I need to figure out some redstone, like the start and some traps. And I would need some help editing the world then.

I think it would be hard to make in the theme park, simply because of the amount of building required. It would be better, imo, if we found a nice area with hills and stuff to use which would make it better.

True, I looked at the themepark map, and I think it's a bit too small for the Slap Games area.

Hey, so what do you always need when building your first good home. Wood, and cobble. Well, I was shopping at the market, and I bought wood. But the market doesn't sell cobble. Could you add cobble and replace something else that no one usually buys? Like spider eyes or something. Those are easy to get.

Go into one of the wilderness jumps and search a mountain range where you can mine cobblestone.
