add this file into your %appdata% > .minecraft > bin folder.
it will downgrade you back to 1.8

Appdata is supposed to be hidden, no wonder you can't find it if you don't have hidden folders enabled.. i think it was somewhere at control panel. |

Easiest way to find appdate imo is starting up minecraft -> login -> texture packs -> open texture packs folder et voila |

if you have vista/windows 7 in the start menu searchbox, type; %appdata% and hit enter. job done. %AppData% > .Minecraft > bin (REPLACE CURRENT BIN FOLDER WITH THE ATTACHED ABOVE) |
