Not going to happen, we aren't going to give guides any power which could do a lot of damage to the server. Since guides can't do any long-term damage we can more easily make people a guide. Before someone becomes a mod we need to really know them.
If we'd give guides permission to make regions, you'd also have to give them the permission to remove regions etc. and then they could do serious damage to the server. Either by accident or on purpose. Worldguarding isn't as easy as it seems, we have a lot of guidelines as to how we wg on this server. And if someone does this wrong it takes quite a lot of time to fix it.

It was just a idea to get new people starting quicker without a wait until someone reacts on /helpop

A world guard on a plot takes 30 seconds, at the max. We have enough mods and admins to do this now.
As naithantu explained, they are not going to get access.

I would love to be a guide for this amazing server, because I love helping people (I try to every day but i'm not able most the time) and i want to be able to help the new people that are connfused and new.

my name is Black_Shadow6 (ign) and I live in Blacktown, Australia. I am 14 and have been on the server for over 2 months i think. I am a friendly person and I am in the Eastern Standerd timezone so I'm on when all the U.S. and U.K. mods and admins are going to sleep.

I dont have any enemys that i know of and everybody likes (except when the mods and admins are trolling me *KraftKing*) and alllot ask for help when there is no mods/admins on and I try to help them as much as I can. I do have Ventrilo and have been use it ever since i got it.

(Name Soco, SocomKiller18, Nascar, Nascar8FanGA, or Thomas and I'm 20 years old [or I have 20 years if you are picky :P]) I guess you wanted English though. Especially since thats about all I learned in two years of Spanish. Goes to show you I should of been paying more attention then dreaming of chicks wait err umm ack girls...? Wait ack how did that get in there...

Anyway I've been apart of this server since May 22nd, so over a month now and really enjoy spending time on it. I can't really say what times I'm on right now because they are rather random. (Right now I randomly woke up and have been on for about an hour and will probably be on for a while longer at 5 am my time (US EST)), but once I start job (2 weeks) I'll be able to be on Monday-Thurs somewhere between 6ish and 11ish pm and Friday 6ish on to whenever, and Sat and Sunday really anytime of the day depending on what I'm doing. I really enjoy helping some of the newer members since I was once a new member on this server and in Minecraft in general at one time in the past (Server a month ago, minecrarft a good 2 years ago) and people helped me so I enjoyed the game and server, so I want to help others so that they can enjoy it as much as I do. I'm pretty good at dealing with newer people and am pretty patient so difficult members shouldn't be a problem.
Regarding Vent, I have a mic, Vent, and Skype, and have been lurking on Vent on and off since the first week I joined but really only started talking a little the last 2 or so weeks. I live in the United States and I'm in the EST Time Zone or GMT -5).

I'd like to be a guide, just so I can help the server grow better and become more popular. The Ventrilo chat is awesome and I like to be talking within Ventrilo, this is a good experience to me, as my primary language is not English. I love to be meeting new people in the server, and introducing them into our realm. Giving these new people extra help if needed, is also something I really like.

I would like to become a guide because i would like to help people out that are new to the server. I was once just like them and had no clue what to do. Now i wish to use my minecraft skils to help the new people playing minecraft. I know where most of the things are like the calculator warp pads and resource world. I also k ow how to find plots. Even though i do not have ventrilo i have many friends on this server and i could keep u guys posted on everything going on and still use my guide powers to help people. please take my request into consideration. mY in game name is delsea31.

I thought my first application was pretty poor, so i thought i'd apply again.
I would like to be Guide because i love helping people. When i first joined i know that xiTropicx helped me around and that really helped. I want to be able to help the new people find a plot so they stop bugging the Mods and Admins about it.
I have been on the server for a while know and i have helped alot of people in that time. I also got some of my friends on the server and i showed them what to do.
I do have Vent and i am on there quite alot.

Hello. My name is Josh, in game Brabbit2244. I have been on vent for roughly 2 weeks. And the server i think about 3 weeks? idk I spend so much time online its a blur! im typically on about 4-10 hours a day and weekends pretty much all day. Since i bought minecraft i joined a few hunger games type servers but wanted more. I was watching a yogscast youtube video and followed a link to Slap Gaming. Little did i know i had just found my new home. After being an incompetent builder i applied for membership and was thrilled. Bought vip and still thrilled! Since i purchased my new gaming headset i have been on vent getting to know the mods admin and guides. I would love to become a bigger part on this server. i do not have the know how to be a mod but would like to learn how! My knowledge of in game help and rules would be a tremendous help to the new player we get on the server. Since i have a desire to help others with finding a new home and helping them figure out where the resource world is i think i would be an excellent guide! i hope i didn't ramble too much and got my point across!!

Why are ellyssium and penfoldjnr not on the Accepted Guides? Penfoldjnr is on the Rejected list and ellysium has just not been included.

Hello! My in-game name is coolguyselwyn and I would really like to be a guide. Why? you might ask, well I really like helping people. For example for the last two years I was an ambassador to the school that I go to. This means that at any time that there was an open day, I was one of the people who showed visitors around the school. I am guessing that this guide service is basically the same thing. One "power" that I think that the Guides should have is TPing and TEing so that it could be a bit easier to get around the server, another power is logblock (maybe) so that the mods and admins could have some help with tree and landscape griefs.
